James Cronin

James Cronin (1931-2016) was a physicist from the United States. He was born in Chicago and passed away in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Cronin received his education at Southern Methodist University, the University of Chicago, and Highland Park High School in University Park, Texas. As a student, he was advised by doctoral advisor Samuel King Allison.

Cronin, also known as James Watson Cronin, was awarded the 1980 Nobel Prize in Physics and had a significant career as a physicist in the United States.
