Jacques Babinet

Jacques Babinet (1794-1872) was a French astronomer, mathematician, and physicist known for his contributions to various fields of science. Born in Lusignan, Vienne on March 5, 1794, Babinet later studied at the Polytechnic School and held French citizenship.
