Jacques-Louis David

Jacques-Louis David was a French painter and politician . He was born in Paris, France, on August 30, 1748 , and died in Brussels on December 29, 1825 .

David was educated at various institutions, including the Académie de Saint-Luc , the University of Paris , the Académie royale de peinture et de sculpture , and the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts .
