Jacob van Ruisdael (1628-1682) was a painter from the Netherlands. Born in Haarlem, he is well-known for creating landscape paintings. Among his notable works are "The Jewish Cemetery", "Windmill at Wijk bij Duurstede", and "The Ray of Light". Van Ruisdael was the son of Isaack van Ruisdael and also spent his final days in his birthplace, Haarlem, where he passed away in 1682.
