Instapaper is a bookmarking service that saves all types of bookmarks under one account that can be synced to any device. Instapaper was founded in 2008 by Marco Arment. Instapaper is available as an app on both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.
History
Instapaper was originally a free app upon its release in 2008. By the end of that year, they released a paid version of the app called Instapaper Pro. In 2011, the free app was removed from app stores and the paid version became the only option. It became entirely free for all users on November 1, 2016. Instapaper has been sold multiple times, first in 2013 to Betaworks, then in 2016 to Pinterest, and in 2018 back to the original owners under their new company name, Instant Paper, Inc.
