Igor Stravinsky (1882 - 1971) was a notable composer, pianist, and musician born in Lomonosov, Russia. He held citizenship in the Russian Empire, France, and the United States. Stravinsky was educated at Saint Petersburg State University and was the son of Fyodor Stravinsky. He had a child named Soulima Stravinsky.
His work spanned various genres, including opera, symphony, chamber music, and 20th-century classical music. Some of Stravinsky's most recognized works include The Rite of Spring, The Firebird, Petrushka (ballet), Symphony in E-flat, Scherzo fantastique, and Movements for Piano and Orchestra.
Throughout his lifetime, Stravinsky received numerous accolades, such as the Grammy Award for Best Orchestral Performance and the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award. He passed away in New York City in 1971.
