Hugo Gernsback

Hugo Gernsback, born in Luxembourg City on August 16, 1884, was a writer, novelist, and publisher in the science fiction genre. He held citizenship in both the United States and Luxembourg. Gernsback founded Experimenter Publishing and was a key figure in the development of the early science fiction field.
