Henry Gantt

Henry Gantt (born May 20, 1861, and died on November 23, 1919) was an American engineer, inventor, and management consultant. He is best known for his creation of the Gantt chart, which is a widely used project management tool today. Born in Calvert County, Maryland, Gantt was a citizen of the United States.

Gantt was educated at the McDonogh School and later attended the Stevens Institute of Technology. Throughout his career, Henry Gantt held various occupations such as engineer and inventor.

Henry Gantt passed away in Montclair, New Jersey, but his legacy in the field of project management and engineering lives on through his notable contributions to the field.
