Henry Fairfield Osborn

Henry Fairfield Osborn (1857-1935) was an American geologist and paleontologist. Born in Fairfield, Connecticut, he was a U.S. citizen. Osborn studied at Princeton University and became a prominent scientist in his field. He was a student of Edward Drinker Cope, one of the leading American paleontologists of the time.

Osborn's career in geology took him to various parts of the United States, where he made essential contributions to the understanding of prehistoric life. His work ultimately led him to become an esteemed figure in the scientific community. Osborn passed away in New York City in 1935 at the age of 78.
