George Beadle

George Beadle was born on October 22, 1903, in Wahoo, Nebraska. He was a geneticist and politician , holding citizenship in the United States . Beadle studied at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and Cornell University . His father was Chauncey Beadle .

Throughout his career, George Beadle contributed significantly to the field of genetics, earning him the 1958 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine . He later died on June 9, 1989, in Pomona, California .
