Fraunhofer Venture

Fraunhofer Venture is the corporate venture capital arm of Fraunhofer Society. The firm prefers to invest in firms operating in the clean tech and technology sectors. It was established in 2001 and is based in Munich, Germany.

Fraunhofer Venture acts as a partner of founders, start-up companies, Fraunhofer institutes and investors. By offering access to Fraunhofer technologies, infrastructure and know-how with more than 4,500 patent classes, it provides young companies with the opportunity of the establishment of their products on the markets.
