Frances Conroy

Frances Conroy, born Frances Hardman Conroy on November 13, 1953, is an American actor. She was born in Monroe, Georgia and is the child of Vincent Paul Conroy and Ossie Hardman Conroy (Ray). Frances Conroy has gone by the nicknames Franny and Frannie.

Conroy is a graduate of Ward Melville High School and Dickinson College. She also attended the prestigious Juilliard School where she studied acting. Notable works in Conroy's acting career include television series Six Feet Under and the 2019 film Joker.
