Fintin is a financial services infrastructure platform created by Tuatara, a Polish technology company. Fintin is based on microservices and features an open API that enables it to adapt to variable conditions and offer services in a cloud environment.
Fintin is intended for companies offering financial services or featuring financing-based purchase options. The types of clients that Fintin serves include the following:
- Insurance firms
- Leasing companies
- Manufacturers
- Car dealers
- Banks
- Service stations
- E-commerce companies

The platform is designed with regulatory compliance in mind to ensure process safety. The processing of personal data complies with the regulations of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and meets the standards related to the use of cloud computing in the financial sector and the security requirements of web applications specified by organizations such as Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP), a nonprofit foundation.
The security of the user's transactions is guaranteed by identity verification systems, with all process activity being recorded on an audit log. Fintin utilizes technologies such as robotic process automation (RPA), machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), and artificial intelligence (AI) to save time and resources in the management of financing processes. These technologies are also used in customer service applications, such as automated form filling, remote verification, and conversational interfaces.
Fintin can be implemented in any configuration, ranging from on-premise solutions and hybrid solutions to installation in cloud systems such as Azure, AWS, IBM, or Google Cloud. The platform's architecture configurator enables users to choose a pre-configured architecture with a variety of segmentation modules. Some of these components can be optionally installed in the cloud environment, with the key components placed in the user's local environment. Alternatively, all components can be implemented in the local environment. Users may select these modules according to their specific needs. The module options include the following:
- Virtual dealer (presentation of financing services and additional options to compare offers, select promotions, and complete the process online)
- Self-service portal
- Mobile app
- Administration panel
- Active plugin (installation of financing services on any website or application, allowing users to make multiple financing offers available in one place, with parameters adjusted to the needs of customers or partners)
- Application programming interface (API) gateway
- Domain modules
- Document repository (automatic recognition, classification, and processing of elements from documents through data analysis)
- Identity and access management
- Lightweight directory access protocol or active directory
- Digital assistant (offers a conversational interface based on natural language processing capable of suggesting financing options to users)
- Task manager (management of various customer-related services, such as applications, damage reporting, or visitors)
- Open banking (aggregator designed for banks or third-party providers (TPPs) that enables systems to utilize data provided by banks as part of open banking directives)
Fintin can gather and analyze data from customer behavior patterns and segment clients accordingly, to present them with the most suitable offer, aiming to minimize the risk of transaction failure. In addition, the platform comes with complete digital aftersales support for each client, supporting them in processes related to contracts and obligations.
