Eutropia Aerospace is an aerospace company that looks to find an accessible entry to space travel through cheap, reusable, and hybrid rockets. The company was founded in 2017 in Footscray, Victoria, Australia.
The company is interested in reusing, rethinking, and accelerating hybrid rocket technologies. Their goal is provide outsourcing for small boosters and reduce the cost of R&D for companies by 60%. They look to charge per flight rather than allowing companies to buy engines directly.
Eutropia Aerospace has two projects underway. They have their Phantom which is a recoverable engine that will be able to produce 5kN. The Phantom will be their first commercially available motor. Their other project, the Athena (V and VI), is an engine block. The Mark1 - Athena V has gone through three test stages. The tests involve a low power test fires, a second mid-range oxygen rich test fire, and a third and final test with a full oxygen combustion. The Mark 2 - Athena VI goes through three tests including a prototype test, a refined test fire, and a full power test fire.
