Erasmus+ project was launched in 2014 as a valuable tool that helps organisations and citizens to achieve their potential through international education and training and collaborative opportunities. "International Credit Mobility" (ICM) is one of the most widely used Erasmus+ mechanisms for professional development and qualification training abroad for individuals, and it increases international dimension of the organisations taking part. The aims of Erasmus + project are the following:
- increasing the number of higher education graduates;
- improving the quality and relevance of teaching and learning;
- promoting mobility of students and staff and cross-border cooperation;
- strengthening the “knowledge triangle”, linking education, research and innovation;
- creating effective governance and funding mechanisms for higher education.
