Elliott Sharp

Elliott Sharp is an American composer, guitarist, and musician born in Cleveland on March 1, 1951. He is known for his work in genres such as experimental music, contemporary classical music, and free improvisation. In addition to being a composer and jazz guitarist, Sharp has also worked as a producer, film score composer, and saxophonist.

Sharp pursued his education at various institutions, including the University at Buffalo, Bard College, and Cornell University. Holding American citizenship, he represents an instance of a person from the United States devoting their life to various aspects of music as a multi-faceted career.
