Edwin Corley Moses, born 31 August 1955 in Dayton, Ohio, is an American former track and field athlete. Moses, who was educated at Morehouse College, has citizenship in the United States. He is known for winning gold medals in the 400 m hurdles at the 1976 and 1984 Olympics.
Throughout his career, Moses received numerous awards. He won the Men's Track & Field Athlete of the Year in 1980 and achieved Gold medals in various competitions, including the 1976 Montreal Olympic Games, 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Games, 1983 Helsinki World Championships, and 1987 Rome World Championships. Moses also earned Gold in multiple IAAF World Cup events. In addition to those achievements, he secured a Gold medal at the 1986 Moscow Goodwill Games and a Bronze medal at the 1988 Seoul Olympic Games.
Edwin Moses has been in relationships with Myrella Bordt and Michelle Moses. The athlete also has a son named Julian.
