In 2001, CJSC ER-Telecom was formed in Perm by merging the telephone operator CJSC Elsvyaz and the Internet provider CJSC Raid-Internet, which had been operating in Perm since 1997.
In February 2006, Perm Financial and Production Group, through an additional issue and repurchase of shares from other shareholders (including the Perm Krai administration), became the owner of a controlling stake in ER-Telecom CJSC. In April 2006, the Board of Directors of CJSC ER-Telecom decided to create a management company CJSC ER-Telecom Holding to oversee the development of regional projects of the company.
In May 2009, the shareholders of ER-Telecom CJSC decided to change the type of company to open.
In 2010, the company completed the accession of 14 regional subsidiaries to CJSC ER-Telecom Holding.
In 2011, 15 startup projects were launched: in Ufa, Kurgan, Tula, Ulyanovsk, Magnitogorsk, Dzerzhinsk, Syzran, Ryazan, Irkutsk, Tomsk, Bryansk, Cheboksary, Tver, Kursk, Rostov-on-Don.
In March 2015, the position of president of the company was introduced.
Since March 2015, the name has changed from CJSC to JSC ER-Telecom Holding.
In 2015, he acquired several local operators: Yaroslavteleset JSC, Delovaya Net — Irkutsk JSC, Megapolis-Telecom JSC and Siberian Telephone Company JSC in Irkutsk.
In June 2016, he acquired the wireless access operator Prestige-Internet LLC (the Enforta brand), also LLC "TuraTelecom", LLC "Corvette Telecom", LLC "Intel" in Ryazan and LLC "West Call SPb".
In 2017, we bought the leading Internet provider of Novosibirsk "Novotelecom" (the brand "Electronic City"), JSC "Infoset" in Moscow, LLC "Saturn-Internet" in Perm, LLC "Direct-Telecom", LLC "RadioNet" in St. Petersburg, JSC "TCS "Neva", JSC "Akado-Yekaterinburg", LLC "Columbia Telecom" in Volgograd and LLC "Enlink Telecommunications" in Ryazan.
In 2016-2017, JSC "ER-Telecom Holding" was reorganized by joining JSC "Megapolis-Telecom", JSC "Siberian Telephone Company", LLC "Corvette Telecom" (Irkutsk), JSC "Yaroslavteleset", LLC "Perspektiva" (St. Petersburg), LLC "Prestige-Internet", JSC "Information and Telematics" (Moscow), LLC "RadioNet" (St. Petersburg), LLC "STK" (Ivanovo), LLC "Infoseti-Kaluga".
In 2018, he acquired the operators of Credolink LLC (St. Petersburg)[12] , "Aksinet" (Kursk), "Tomtel" (Tomsk).
In December 2019, he acquired LLC "SKV Company" operating under the brand "SKV-Telecom" (Voronezh) and LLC "Kronix Plus" brand Rinet (Moscow).
In January 2022, the joint venture ER-Telecom and Rostec acquired 75% minus one share of Akado, the blocking stake of which belongs to Maxim Mayorets' AVK Investments
