Don McLean

Don McLean is an American singer-songwriter, composer, guitarist, and singer, born on October 2, 1945, in New Rochelle, New York. He holds citizenship in the United States, and is sometimes referred to as the American Troubadour, King of the Trail, and The Don.

McLean studied at Iona Preparatory School and later attended Iona College (New York). His music spans across rock music, folk rock, and contemporary folk music genres. One of his authored songs is titled "The Saga Begins".
