Dee Dee Bridgewater

Dee Dee Bridgewater, born Denise Eileen Garrett on May 27, 1950, is a singer, actor, composer, singer-songwriter, and record producer from the United States. She was born in Memphis, Tennessee , and holds American citizenship. Additionally, she studied at Michigan State University.

In her career, Bridgewater has explored various music genres, including jazz and vocal music. Some of her most notable accomplishments include winning the Grammy Award for Best Jazz Vocal Album. Dee Dee Bridgewater is also the mother of China Moses, an American singer and television host.
