DecisionIQ is an artificial intelligence platform that is based on a cloud and enables Industry 4.0 transformations for businesses. The company was founded by Andrew Lewis and Nagi Gebraeel in 2015, in Atlanta.

The company offers their cloud platform, GENESIS, to businesses with the aim of taking existing plant MRO (maintenance, repair, and operations) data to achieve transformations such as zero unplanned downtime, cost reduction to MRO processes, reducing spare parts inventories, improving JIT repair processes, and a consolidation of multi-plant MRO into a single operation.

GENESIS operates in real-time and continuously monitors the manufacturing plant, providing a constant improvement cycle and artificial intelligence based decision guidance that tells the plant owner how to fix problems most efficiently. The platform analyzes and identifies potential maintenance problems and gives the operator the top two most plausible issues. The platform also predicts the lifetime of all machinery components allowing the plant to repair them proactively.

The company has held successful pilots with Coca-Cola and Southern Company. DecisionIQ is also a company that participated in the Flashpoint Fall 2014 cohort.
