David Simon

David Simon is an American screenwriter, novelist, and film producer born on August 16, 1960, in Washington, D.C.. He holds citizenship in the United States and is best known for creating the television series "The Wire".

Simon attended Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School and later studied at the University of Maryland, College Park. In addition to screenwriting and novel writing, he has also worked as a film producer, showrunner, television producer, and actor.

David Simon is also the creator of the character Herc. He is based in Baltimore, Maryland and has engaged in multiple occupations within the entertainment industry.
