Colley Cibber (born 6 November 1671) was a writer, playwright, and poet from the Kingdom of Great Britain. He was the son of Caius Gabriel Cibber, a renowned sculptor. Colley Cibber spent his entire life in London, where he was born and later passed away on 11 December 1757.
