Charles Barry

Charles Barry was a British architect born in London on May 23, 1795. He was a citizen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland. Throughout his career as an architect, Barry worked on various projects, including the Houses of Parliament in London. Charles Barry died in London on May 12, 1860.

Barry was the father of two notable sons, Edward Middleton Barry and Alfred Barry. Like their father, Edward Middleton Barry also became an architect, while Alfred Barry pursued a career in the church and education.
