Carl Zuckmayer

Carl Zuckmayer (born 27 December 1896 in Nackenheim, ) was a German-American-Swiss writer known for his work in various literary fields, including as a playwright, screenwriter, and poet. He held citizenship in Germany, the United States, and Switzerland. Zuckmayer was educated at Goethe University Frankfurt.

Throughout his career, Zuckmayer wrote in the genre of play (theatre) and was the author of "The Prince of Rogues". He passed away on 18 January 1977 in Visp, .
