Caitlin Long is the founder and CEO of Custodia Bank. She holds a joint J.D./M.P.P. degree from Harvard Law School and Harvard Kennedy School of Government and attended the University of Wyoming for a bachelor's degree in 1990. Caitlin ran Morgan Stanley’s pension solutions business from 2007–2016.
She held senior roles at Credit Suisse from 1997–2007 and continued her career at Salomon Brothers from 1994–1997. The Wall Street veteran became active in the bitcoin and blockchain industries in 2012. In 2018–2020, she helped Wyoming enact twenty blockchain-enabling laws.
In 2018, Caitlin was appointed by two Wyoming Governors to serve on related legislative committees. From 2016–2018, she jointly ran a blockchain project for delivering market index data to Vanguard as the chairman and president of Symbiont, an enterprise blockchain start-up.
