Buster Keaton

Buster Keaton, born Joseph Francis Keaton VI on October 4, 1895 , was an American writer, screenwriter, comedian, mime artist, film director, film producer, actor, and film editor . He held citizenship in the United States and was known by the pseudonym Frigo . Buster Keaton was born in Piqua, Kansas and passed away in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles on February 1, 1966 .

He was best known for his silent films, where his trademarks included physical comedy with a stoic, deadpan expression, earning him the nicknames "The Great Stone Face" and "Buster" .

Keaton's parents were Joe Keaton and Myra Keaton . He was married to Natalie Talmadge . Some of his notable directorial works include "My Wife's Relations" , "The Electric House" , and "One Week" . He also authored films such as "Convict 13" , "The Frozen North" , and "The Blacksmith" .

Throughout his career, Buster Keaton directed and acted in a multitude of films, including "Sherlock Jr." , "The General" , and "The Railrodder" .
