For over 50 years, Bübchen has been producing skin care products that are optimally tailored to the needs of babies' skin. First of all, we pay attention to skin tolerance of cosmetics. delicate children's skin is 5 times thinner than the skin of an adult. To do this, we primarily use the protective and caring properties of plants that have proven themselves for many generations.
Thanks to natural ingredients and valuable vegetable oils, Bübchen guarantees gentle care for the delicate skin of a child. All products are manufactured in accordance with the most stringent hygienic requirements and under constant control. Skin tolerance of cosmetics is verified by numerous tests.
1940
Young German Ewald Hermes recently became a father. Like many babies, his little son suffered from bloating. As a pharmacist, Ewald Hermes understood the medicinal properties of herbs. He prepared for his baby (in German - "Bübchen") a soothing tea made from a mixture of fennel, anise, coriander, cumin and licorice. And the tea helped! Therefore, soon Ewald Hermes began to offer this tea in his pharmacy. As a result, more and more mothers wanted to buy Bübchen's medicinal tea.
1947
After the war, Ewald Hermes resumed production of his soothing tea. In addition, he sold in pharmacies the products he developed for the care of babies. He named his company "Bübchen Werk Ewald Hermes GmbH" - this is the name our company still bears.
1967
Demand for Bübchen's beneficial baby care products was constantly growing, so there was no longer enough production space in Delek. The company moved to a new production and administration building in Soest (Germany). Only the founder of the company, Ewald Hermes, did not see this anymore - he died in a car accident at the age of 46. The family business was led by his wife, who significantly expanded the program for the production of child care products.
1983
Continuation of the already successful Bübchen concept. Since 1983 Bübchen is owned by Nestle Deutschland AG. Bübchen remains true to its line and continues to produce only products that are optimally suited for the care of the sensitive skin of babies.
1999
In November 1999, Bübchen started the production of a new series for the care of children from 3 years old with the product "Apricot Hair and Body Shampoo". It combines valuable ingredients with the "pleasure" of body care - a fresh fruity aroma makes shampooing, showering and applying cream a real pleasure. At the same time, parents can be sure that in a series of products for children from 3 years old, natural ingredients gently care for the skin and hair of their children.
2001
About 40 million packages leave the factory every year. The range of products includes products for the German market as well as for export. Even in such remote countries as China, Korea and Vietnam, many mothers appreciated Bübchen products. In Taiwan, our products have been in high demand for over 20 years.
2004
From October 2004 Bübchen's products took on a new look. The logo and packaging design of all products has been changed. At the same time, as before, all Bübchen products can be recognized at a glance.
2005
Not only the sensitive skin of babies needs careful care using natural ingredients. Already during pregnancy, the skin of expectant mothers experiences additional stress. Since 2005, Bübchen has launched a series of products designed specifically for the tired skin of pregnant and nursing mothers. Rosehip oil and other valuable natural active ingredients maintain the natural elasticity of the skin and prevent it from drying out.
2006
Since Bübchen products were liked not only by boys, but also by girls, since November 2006. the company releases a new series especially for girls - "Princess Rosalea" with a charming peony scent.
2008
From Day One is Bübchen's new range of products, designed to meet the special needs of the delicate skin of newborns. The products in this series are free from impurities and are particularly gentle on the skin of newborns and infants – for optimal reliability from day one.
2010
Byubchen has developed a new complex of active ingredients - "BYUBCHEN - ACTIVE SKIN PROTECTION", which significantly increases the protective function of the skin. This is a combination of natural ingredients that significantly improve the supply of lipids to the skin, moisturize it and, at the same time, prevent the development of inflammatory processes. As a result, the natural protective barrier is noticeably enhanced - the baby's skin is under reliable protection.
