Born on September 23, 1949 , as Bruce Frederick Joseph Springsteen , he is a citizen of the United States and was born in Long Branch, New Jersey .

Springsteen attended Ocean County College and Freehold High School . He is the father of Jessica Springsteen .

Throughout his career, Bruce Springsteen has received several awards, including Brit Awards and American Music Awards .
