Birzeit University

Birzeit University, also known as جامعة بيرزيت, is a private university located in Birzeit, a town in the Palestine region. Founded in 1975, the university is a part of the education, higher education, and university industries. The institution's motto is "From our past heritage and present creativity we build the future"[].

Birzeit University has received accreditation from the Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC) of ABET and the Ministry of Education and Higher Education of the Palestinian Territory. The university is affiliated with the International Association of Universities, the Federation of the Universities of the Islamic World, and the Association of Arab Universities. As a higher education institution, it is also classified as an Educational Institute.
