Born on September 4, 1981, in Houston, Texas, she holds United States citizenship. Beyoncé is the founder of Parkwood Entertainment and has a diverse range of occupations, including record producer, film director, composer, film producer, model, screenwriter, and choreographer.

She is known for her versatile music genres, such as Afrobeat, country music, disco, electronic music, folk music, funk, jazz, opera, pop music, rapping, rock music, reggae, rhythm and blues, bluegrass music, soul music, garage rock, gospel music, dancehall, reggaeton, bounce music, contemporary R&B, classical music, chillwave, and theatre music.
