Bear is a note-taking app for ios and macOS devices. It was created by the Italian app studio, Shiny Frog.
The app was released in 2015, and in 2016 was voted App of the Year by Apple. In 2017 Bear was a winner of the Apple Design Awards.
Techradar named Bear among the Best Note Taking Apps of 2018. in January 2017, Bear appeared in the New York Times.
The app is not available to download on Android devices.
