AptosBridge

Intro

Welcome to the LayerZero Aptos Bridge. The Aptos blockchain is built on a fundamentally different architecture relative to other chains and has unique transfer and registration requirements which are focused on user security.

Users are required to have both a non-Aptos and an Aptos-compatible wallet to successfully transfer assets using the bridge.

Bridge Functionality

The Aptos bridge will initially use wrapped assets for day 1 liquidity but will quickly move to transferring native assets to Aptos where possible. The bridge will initially be limited to $1M per asset every 24 hours upon launch. These limits are in place for security reasons and will be lifted over time.

Initially supported assets will be USDC, USDT, and WETH.

Registering & Claiming Assets

When sending assets from an non-Aptos wallet to a destination Aptos wallet, users will be required to register and/or claim their assets on Aptos. This is a result of the fundamental design differences between Aptos and other blockchains that are designed to enhance security.
