Ani DiFranco

Ani DiFranco is an American musician, singer-songwriter, and poet born on September 23, 1970 in Buffalo, New York. Her birth name is Angela Maria DiFranco. She is known for her work in various genres, including punk rock, alternative rock, folk rock, and indie folk.

DiFranco pursued her education at Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts, Buffalo State College, and The New School. Throughout her career, she has held various occupations such as a guitarist, writer, record producer, singer-songwriter, composer, poet, singer, and musician.

Ani DiFranco has received a Grammy Award for Best Recording Package and is currently living in New Orleans.
