Cloud originates from Oakland, California, although much of his family resides in Ireland, where he planned to move before being cast for Euphoria.He attended the School of Production Design at Oakland School for the Arts, graduating in 2016.This was the same school his costar from Euphoria, Zendaya, also attended. While working at a chicken-and-waffles restaurant close to Barclays Center in Brooklyn, Angus was scouted by Euphoria casting agent Jennifer Venditti, whom he originally suspected was scamming him.
