Andrew Dickson White

Andrew Dickson White (born November 7, 1832) was an American historian, politician, diplomat, teacher, and writer. He was born in Homer, New York, and held citizenship in the United States. White pursued his education at Yale University and Yale College.

Throughout his career, White held various occupations which included being a writer, teacher, politician, historian, and diplomat. As a notable accomplishment, he was one of the founders of Cornell University. Andrew Dickson White passed away on November 4, 1918, and his place of death is listed as the Andrew Dickson White House.
