Alpha FX was established in 2009 as a technology company delivering risk management and institutional brokerage services to organizations worldwide, in more than fifty countries. Alpha FX is listed on the London Stock Exchange with a market cap exceeding £800 million. The broker works with a diverse range of companies, ranging from manufacturing to travel.

The company is run by CEO Morgan Tillbrook and CFO Tim Kidd. Tillbrook founded the company after establishing an online poker league and social network, Poker Project Ltd, later part of Sky Poker. As CEO of Alpha FX, Tillbrook is responsible for the overall strategic development of the group in the UK and internationally.
