Acario Ventures

Acario Innovation Ventures is a California based capital venture firm investing in startups in energy technology. Founded in December 2017 by Tokyo Gas, the company aims to invest in companies involved in research and development of advanced sustainable energy technology for the future. Acario’s team consists of scientists, engineers and venture capital investors relating to the energy industry. In 2018, the company partnered with Greentown Labs to help early-stage startups commercialize their technologies and ultimately get to market faster.

Tokyo Gas established two subsidiaries in the United States for venture capital investment in the energy sector in 2017. Acario Investment and Acario Innovation would work together to collaborate and invest in domestic and international energy companies.
