Aage Bohr (born June 19, 1922, in Copenhagen, Denmark; died September 8, 2009, in Copenhagen) was a Danish physicist and scientist. He was a citizen of Denmark and was educated at the University of Copenhagen and Columbia University. He was the son of Niels Henrik David Bohr, a renowned physicist, and was also advised by his father during his doctoral studies.
Bohr's work in the field of physics led to his receipt of the 1975 Nobel Prize in Physics. In addition to his scientific pursuits, he also used the pseudonym James Baker. Throughout his life, Aage Bohr remained in Denmark, contributing significantly to the scientific community and carrying on the legacy of his father, Niels Bohr.
