A.N.I.M.O

A.N.I.M.O is a non-fungible token (NFT) collection on Ethereum that is based on mechas in anime. There were 10,000 of them minted in December 2021 with 9,500 available to all users, 220 used for giveaways, 268 split among members of the team that developed the collection, and 13 for collaborators.

Prior to purchasing their NFTs, users needed to be on the A.N.I.M.O whitelist, which was only accessible via desktop, and users needed to connect their MetaMask wallet. They also needed to log into Twitter or Discord and complete the A.N.I.M.O training program to be able to buy the NFTs. A.N.I.M.O NFTs were also available to holders of NFTs from Order 66, BOiDs, BOiDs v2, and 10 Potatoes.

The NFTs are minted using several randomly chosen parts that are all minted at the same time. Each NFT has a pilot, top, legs, front, attachments, and specific color paint. The pilot is the head of the NFT and is a cute characterized animal, such as a snake, rabbit, or frog. The rest of the NFT is robotic-looking, similar to mechas that can be seen in anime. Some combinations of parts are rarer than others, making the NFT more valuable.

A.N.I.M.O NFTs can be used to play games in the ANIMO universe. There are multiplayer shooter games available.
