Surfshark is an award-winning, secure VPN that encrypts your online data to help you stay private & protected every day, hassle-free.
Surfshark is a VPN service company based in the Netherlands. Surfshark offers products such as a virtual private network (VPN) service, a data leak detection system, and a private search tool.
Surfshark was launched in 2018 by introducing its first VPN application for iOS devices. In 2018, Surfshark underwent an external audit by a German cybersecurity firm Cure53, but just for their browser extensions. Surfshark has 3200+ servers in 65 countries.
In September 2019, Surfshark launched an Android app called Trust DNS.
The app works as a DNS resolver that can provide access to websites in highly restrictive countries. In October 2019, Surfshark became one of the first ten VPN packages to receive an official seal of approval granted by an independent IT-Security Institute AV-TEST. In 2020, Surfshark was named the best VPN of 2020 by CNN.
In its applications, Surfshark uses IKEv2, OpenVPN, Shadowsocks, and WireGuard tunneling protocols. All data transferred via Surfshark servers is encrypted using an AES-256-GCM encryption standard.
In July 2020, Surfshark announced its entire server network is running on RAM-only servers. Surfshark VPN service comes with a Kill Switch, a Double VPN feature called MultiHop, and a split-tunneling feature (Whitelister). It also offers an ad and malware prevention feature CleanWeb that blocks ads on the DNS level.
In December 2019, Surfshark implemented GPS-Spoofing for Android, allowing users to hide their device’s physical geo-location by changing it to one of the server’s locations.
Surfshark is an award-winning, secure VPN that encrypts your online data to help you stay private & protected every day, hassle-free.
Apache JMeter is a load testing tool developed by the Apache Software Foundation.
Although JMeter was originally developed to test web applications, it can now load test JDBC, FTP, LDAP, SOAP, JMS, POP3, IMAP, HTTP and TCP connections.
The ability to create a large number of requests using multiple computers while controlling this process from one of them is interesting. Its architecture, which supports third-party plug-ins, allows the tool to be extended with new functions.
Virtual user authorization mechanisms are implemented in the program and user sessions are supported. Logging of test results and various visualization of the results in the form of diagrams, tables, etc. are arranged.
Text editor
Sublime Text is a proprietary text editor. It supports plugins in the Python programming language.
The developer allows you to get acquainted with the product for free and without restrictions, but the program notifies you that you need to purchase a license.
Some features:
Quick navigation (Goto Anything).
Command Palette
Python plugin API
Split Editing
Highly customizable (Customize Anything)
Language Support
Sublime Text supports a large number of programming languages and has syntax highlighting for C, C++, C#, CSS, D, Dylan, Erlang, HTML, Groovy, Haskell, Java, JavaScript, LaTeX, Lisp, Lua, Markdown, MATLAB, OCaml, Perl, PHP, Python, R, Ruby, Rust, SQL, TCL and XML.
In addition to those programming languages that are enabled by default, users can download plugins to support other languages.
Sublime Text can be equipped with a package manager that allows the user to find, install, update and remove packages without restarting the program. The manager keeps the installed packages up to date by downloading new versions from repositories. It also provides commands to activate and deactivate installed packages.
Some features of the program:
Interface
The editor contains various visual themes, with the option to download additional ones.
Users see all of their code on the right side of the screen as a mini-map, which can be navigated by clicking on it.
There are several screen modes. One of them includes from 1 to 4 panels with which you can show up to four files at a time. Full (free modes) mode shows only one file without any additional menus around it.
Column selection or positioning of multiple pointers allows instant editing. The pointers behave as if they were each one in the text. Commands like move to character, move to line, select text, move to word or its parts (CamelCase separated by hyphen or underscore), move to start/end of line, etc., affect all pointers independently and at once, allowing you to edit complex text quickly without using macros or regular expressions.
When the user types code, Sublime Text, depending on the language used, will offer different options for completing the entry. The editor also automatically completes user-created variables.
Sublime Text's dark background is designed to increase text contrast. The main syntax elements are highlighted in different colors that match the dark background better than the light background.
Sublime Text allows the user to build programs and run them without having to switch to the command line. The user can also customize their build system and enable the program to build automatically each time they save the code.
Presets (snippets).
Saving snippets of frequently used code, keywords to run them.
Navigating through files.
A navigation tool that allows users to navigate between files, as well as within them, using a fuzzy search.
Additionally, an auto-save feature is implemented to help users not lose work they've done.
Customizable keyboard shortcuts and navigation tool allow you to assign your own shortcuts to menus and toolbars (version 1 only, version 2 and 3 - Command Palette).
The search as you type feature is used to search a document.
The syntax checker works in a similar way, checking for correctness right as you type.
There is an option to automate with macros and a repeat of recent actions.
Editing commands, including editing indentation, reformatting paragraphs, and merging lines.

Users who have accessed this version note the high speed of the program and the smoothness of scrolling.
27] This version will change the way the editor is sold: the license will allow you to update the program for three years, after which you will need to renew your subscription to use new versions.
The final version was released on May 21, 2021.
Open Broadcaster Software (OBS) is a free and open source video recording and streaming software developed by the OBS project and a community of independent developers.
OBS is a free and open source set of video recording and streaming software. Written in C and C++, OBS provides real-time capturing from devices and sources, scene composition, decoding, recording, and streaming. For example, OBS together with an IP camera can be used for video surveillance. The data transmission is mainly through the Real Time Messaging Protocol (RTMP), and the data can be sent to any source that supports RTMP - the program has ready-made presets for live streaming to YouTube, Twitch.tv, Instagram and other projects.
OBS can use the free x264 library (H264), Intel Quick Sync Video (QSV), Nvidia NVENC H.264 (new) and AMD Video Coding Engine to encode video streams into H.264/MPEG-4 AVC and H.265/HEVC formats. Audio can be encoded using MP3 or AAC codecs. Advanced users can choose any containers and codecs available in libavcodec / libavformat, as well as output the stream via ffmpeg to a URL.
The user interface is divided into five sections: scenes, sources, audio mixer, transitions between scenes, and a recording control panel. Scenes are a group of streams like broadcast or finished video, text and audio. The mixer panel allows the user to control audio levels, mute and apply effects by clicking the gear next to the mute button. In the control panel are buttons to start/stop recording or broadcasting, as well as a button to switch OBS to professional studio mode (see below), a button to open the settings menu, and a button to close the program. In the upper section is the broadcast preview to observe and edit the current scene. The user interface can be switched to a dark or light theme depending on your preference.
In studio mode, there are two scene preview windows; the left one is for editing and previewing non-active scenes, the right one for previewing the active scene. In the center is a button that allows you to switch the active scene to the scene in the left window.
There are several simple Open Broadcaster Software manuals available online (in English).
Open Broadcaster Software began as a small project created by Hugh "Jim" Bailey, but grew rapidly with a lot of contributions from enthusiasts, widely distributing the program and working to improve it. In 2014, development began on a rewritten version called OBS Multiplatform (later renamed OBS Studio) to support cross-platform, more advanced functionality and APIs. As of OBS Studio v18.0.1, OBS Classic is no longer supported, but is still available for download.
Open Broadcaster Software supports a wide range of plug-ins to extend the functionality of the program. They are loaded as DLL files with native code, but a wrapper is available which has added support for plug-ins written with the .NET Framework.
