As of 2018, the museum had more than 150 exhibits, including retro cars, motorcycles, serial and rare prototypes of military equipment, and small arms. A number of exhibits are on the move and regularly take part in various historical reconstructions.
The Faeton Retro Car Museum at Zaporizhyza was established in 2004. Its collection includes more than sixty motor cars, motorcycles and military vehicles, together with children’s pedal cars, artefacts from the Second World War, such as radios and hand weapons, model cars, vehicles for the disabled and tractors. Most are from the Soviet era with some made in Germany and the United States. Notable vehicles include a Polutorka GBZ-AA truck, made in Ukraine in 1935, and an Opel car of the same year made in Germany.
The main building of the museum (6 exhibition halls) and the outdoor exposition are open for visitors.
The museum's cars were repeatedly used in the filming of films.
