Zachris Topelius

Zachris Topelius was a Finnish person born on January 14, 1818, in Finland. He held various occupations throughout his life including poet, historian, writer, journalist, and professor. Topelius was educated at the University of Helsinki. He held citizenship in the Grand Duchy of Finland and identified as Finnish.

Zachris Topelius had two children: Eva Acke and Toini Topelius. Eva Acke was also his father. Topelius passed away on March 12, 1898, in Sipoo.
