Yoshitomo Nara

Yoshitomo Nara, also known as なら よしとも, is a multi-talented Japanese artist. Born on December 5, 1959, in Hirosaki, Japan, Nara is known for his work in sculpture and painting. He currently resides in Nasushiobara.

Nara has an extensive educational background, having attended the Düsseldorf Art Academy and the Aichi Prefectural University of the Arts. He has citizenship in Japan and considers himself a Japanese national.

In addition to being an accomplished artist in the genre of portrait, Nara also has experience as a musician, photographer, illustrator, and painter.
