William Joseph Chaminade

William Joseph Chaminade was a French priest born on April 8, 1761, in Périgueux, France. He was a citizen of France and held the occupation of a priest.

Chaminade is known as the founder of the Society of Mary (Marianists), an organization known for its religious and educational work. He passed away in Bordeaux, France, on January 22, 1850.
