Vittorio Gassman

Vittorio Gassman (September 1, 1922 – June 29, 2000) was an Italian actor, film director, and screenwriter. He was born in Genoa and passed away in Rome. Gassman studied at the Accademia Nazionale di Arte Drammatica Silvio D'Amico.

Throughout his career, Vittorio Gassman was known for his notable works which include "Big Deal on Madonna Street," "March on Rome," "Il Sorpasso," and "Life Is a Bed of Roses".

Gassman had a son, Alessandro Gassmann, who also became an actor.
