Viktor Nessler (born January 28, 1841, in Baldenheim, France) was a French composer. He held French citizenship. Nessler's career as a composer spanned several decades, and during this time, he gained recognition for his compositions.
Viktor, also known as エルンスト, was born in the small town of Baldenheim, France, and the town would be the starting point for the composer's lifelong passion for music. Nessler's time on Earth, however, was relatively short, as he died in Strasbourg, France, on May 28, 1890, just a few months after celebrating his 49th birthday.
