VR’t Ventures was founded in 2017 by Jacob Koo and Linus Adolfsson.

Technology

VR’t Ventures developed a program that utilized laser scanning and volumetric photogrammetry in order to preserve a digital footprint of a real art exhibit. Once fully operational, the company partnered with Samsung Gear VR, with Oculus as the platform.

Museum of Contemporary Art

On November 7, 2017, VR’t Ventures launched their first virtual reality experience, Kerry James Marshall Retrospective: ‘Mastry’, in partnership with MOCA Los Angeles.

Shepard Fairey

VR’t Ventures collaborated with Shepard Fairey to preserve his exhibit DAMAGED. Koo, Adolfsson and Talespin created a mobile application to feature Shepard Fairey's work on smartphones. VR’t Ventures changed the design of their platform and made it accessible via Augmented Reality. DAMAGED by Shepard Fairey, was launched on October 15, 2018 in partnership with Juxtapoz Magazine and Talespin.
