Tom Paxton

Tom Paxton, born Thomas Richard Paxton on October 31, 1937, is an American guitarist, writer, singer-songwriter, musician, and singer. He was born in Chicago and holds citizenship in the United States.

Paxton received his education at the University of Oklahoma. Throughout his career, he has been involved in various music genres, including folk music, country music, and contemporary folk music. In addition to his musical pursuits, Paxton is also an environmentalist.

Tom Paxton has been recognized for his contributions to the music industry by receiving the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.
