Titus Salt (1803-1876) was a British politician and businessperson who was born in Morley, West Yorkshire. He attended Batley Grammar School for his education and later became a citizen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland.

Throughout his life, Titus Salt had three children: Titus Salt Jr., Edward Salt, and Herbert Salt. Titus Salt Sr. is also a child of another Titus Salt.

Salt is best known for his notable works, Saltaire and Salts Mill. He passed away in Lightcliffe on December 29, 1876.
